Supervisor Ontario Operations
The Supervisor is responsible to coach and mentor field employees and perform field service duties for specific clients ensuring effective delivery of certification training and quality management systems. The Supervisor assists the Operations Manager in the implementation of promotional activities.This position reports to the Manager, Ontario and International Operations and will work out of our Milton office.
• Professional Engineer or Welding Technician/Technologist preferred
• Level 2 Welding Inspector certification would be an asset
• Supervisory or management experience preferred
• 4-7 years' experience in the Welding Fabrication, Inspection industry, or in Welding education
• Technical background and technical knowledge of the welding and joining industry
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrated planning, organizing and follow-up skills.
• Possess a valid driver's license, must be able to travel in territory, and own vehicle is necessary

Jr. Financial Analyst
Milton, Ontario
The Jr. Financial Analyst is responsible for the timely, accurate and confidential handling of the financial analysis functions for the CWB Group. This position will also offer other Accounting and Finance support functions such as Account Receivable and Payroll as needed.
This position reports to the Director of Finance and Client Services and will work out of our Milton Head Office.
The following are the qualifications:.
• 3 plus years general accounting experience with emphasis in A/R and financial analysis
• 3 years college Accounting diploma with enrolment in a recognized accounting program
• Accounting software experience preferably in ACCPAC
• Strong orientation to detail and accuracy with ability to interpret data and key findings
• Ability to work within scheduled timeframes and set priorities to ensure deadlines are met.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a minimum knowledge of Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team

CERTIFICATION SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE
The CWB Group is currently hiring for 4 Certification Services Representative positions for the following areas: Edmonton, Calgary, Halifax and St. John's.
The Certification Services Representative is responsible to certify and maintain welding certification programs for new and existing clients and to promote other CWB related service lines. This includes auditing of companies, procedure testing, welder testing, visiting job sites, liaising with building inspectors, engineers, and current and prospective clients.
These positions report to the Operations Manager of their regions, and will work out of their home office, servicing our clients in the Edmonton, Calgary, Halifax and St. John's respectively.
- Level 2 Welding Inspector certification would be an asset
- 2-3 years' experience in the Welding Fabrication, Inspection industry, or in Welding education
- Technical background and technical knowledge of the welding and joining industry

Part-Time Welder Tester
Quebec City area
We are looking for a Part-Time Field Welder Tester who will provide welder test witnessing services to CWB clients who are applicants or certified to the CSA welding standards. These services may also be provided to unions and accredited testing centers.
This position report to the Manager, Quebec Operations and will work out of their respective home offices, servicing our clients in the Quebec City area.
The following qualifications are required:
- Technical background and knowledge of the welding and joining industry.
- Extensive knowledge of welding and testing standards.
- Practical Welding, Welding Inspector, Educator/Trainer or Welding Supervision

- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
- A valid driver's license and own vehicle are mandatory for travel.
The following qualifications would be an asset:

Certified W178.2 Level 2 Inspector.
- Apprenticed Welder Status or Welding Engineering Technician/Technologist

Client Services Advisor - CWA
Milton, ON
The Client Services Advisor- CWA is responsible for providing membership, sales and administrative support to the Director, CWA.
This position reports to the Manager, Client Services and will work out of our Milton office. The following are the qualifications for this position:
- Post-Secondary Education
- Progressive general office administration experience
- Customer Service /Sales administration experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to pay attention to detail and ensure high accuracy of work
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, able to identify opportunities and act on them accordingly
- Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.

Vice President, Business Development
In this newly created position, the Vice President, Business Development will oversee and lead the business development function, identifying and executing on revenue generating business opportunities that support the organization's overall strategic direction. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business development and a proven track record of identifying potential business opportunities and developing the tactics to bring them to fruition. Key responsibilities include:
- identifying and successfully executing on new acquisitions, partnerships and alliances which will support the organization's revenue growth and solidify their position within the marketplace
- identifying opportunities to expand current product and service offerings and/or offer new ones to new or existing clients, working closely with product development to launch products in a timely and cost effective manner
- overseeing and managing corporate sales, working closely with the sales manager and operation managers to ensure sales targets are met for all product and service lines
A solid understanding of the company's markets, products, players, technologies in related markets is an absolute must. Other competencies and skills required include:
- ability to build relationships with key decision makers, promoting the benefits of the CWB domestically and abroad
- ability to work with other business units to bring new products and services to market in a timely manner
- experience in acquisitions/joint ventures and partnerships and ability to manage complex contract negotiations, working with legal counsel as required
- excellent presentation, interpersonal, organization and public relations skills

Manager, Product and Services
In this newly created position, the Manager, Product and Services has responsibility for overseeing the development, implementation and execution of all new products and services, ensuring an appropriate return on investment and subsequent revenue growth year over year. Included in this role is the development of customized solutions for our clients through leveraging the AWTC or other areas of expertise within the organization. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing strategies to integrate new products and services into the business to ensure revenue targets are met
- Working closely with other business units, developing project and change management plans to transition new products into the business
- Oversee and manage the product development team, ensuring new programs and services identified by business development are implemented in a timely and cost effective manner.
Project management skills are a must as well as demonstrated experience in developing new products and successfully integrating them into the business. Other competencies and skills include:
solid technical knowledge related to CSA/AWS welding standards, knowledge of ISO standards considered an asset
- ability to work with other business units and/or on cross functional teams to bring new products and services to market in a timely manner
- excellent change management skills, ability to get buy in and support for all integration plans
- strong financial planning skills, ability to build an annual plan and execute on time and on budget
- sales and marketing experience considered an asset
