CERTIFICATION SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE Sudbury, Ontario
The Certification Services Representative position is responsible to certify and maintain welding certification programs for clients and promote other CWB service line. This includes auditing of companies, procedure testing, and welder testing, visiting job sites, and liaising with building inspectors, engineers, and current and prospective clients.
This position reports to the Manager, Ontario and International Operations and will work out of their home office, servicing our clients in the Sudbury, Ontario area.
The following qualifications are required: · Professional Engineer or Welding Technician/Technologist preferred · Level 2 Welding Inspector certification would be an asset · 2-3 years experience in the Welding Fabrication, Inspection industry, or in Welding education · Technical background and technical knowledge of the welding and joining industry · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills · Presentation skills · Ability to work with minimal supervision · Possess a valid driver's license, must be able to travel in territory, and own vehicle is necessary

Online Program Manager Mississauga, ON
The Online Program Manager will be responsible for managing the development and success of online educational offerings. This role is responsible for creating and implementing effective online marketing strategies which generate revenues from online offerings, as well as, designing programs that sell, and managing the development and production processes toward high quality educational outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be able to provide effective program design, from strategy to concept to execution. Candidates must have direct experience in instructional design and development of high quality online courses, preparation of communication material and campaigns, writing copy for marketing services, and online content. Must have strong business acumen, excellent communicator and business partner to effectively liaise with internal departments, advertisers and external vendors. Efficient budget management and timely handling of administrative functions related to all facets of program management.
This position reports to the Vice President, Marketing & Business Development and is based in our Mississauga head office.The following are the required qualifications for this position: · University or College Education with emphasis on online learning program design, (e-learning, instructional technologies, or educational technology), administration, and management · Strong experience in online course & seminar development including instructional design, with successful revenue generation track record · In-depth business understanding in online marketing including revenue models, social media, traffic generation, search engine optimization, CRM , online target marketing, as well as analyzing research and Google performance metrics · Extensive competency in Web/Online strategy, design and development · Ability to execute workflow design concepts from thumbnail to proof · Experience in managing online program administration, including managing budgets and revenue generation.

Intermediate Structural Engineer Mississauga, ON
The position involves the auditing of structure steel design and fabrication to CSA S16-01, CSA S136, and CSA W59 (CSA A660 certification audits) and may expand to include quality management systems to other standards including ISO 9000, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
This position reports to the Manager, Ontario Operations. The candidate will work out of their home office based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), servicing our clients in Ontario and the US.
The following qualifications are required:
• Professional engineer with knowledge of structural steel design to Canadian standards; • Experience in a structural steel fabrication and welding environment; • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; • Demonstrated planning, organizing and follow-up skills; • Ability to work with minimal supervision, and meet appropriate deadlines; • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; and • Willingness to travel within Canada and internationally. Your own vehicle and a valid driver’s license is mandatory.
The following qualifications are assets:
• CSA W178.2 Welding Inspector Certification; • Successful completion of an ISO accredited Lead Auditor course; • Lead Auditor Certification by a recognized institute such as IRCA or RAB; and • Third party auditing experience.

Advanced Welding Technology Specialist
The Advanced Welding Technology Specialist is responsible for the development, project management, administration, and presentation of traditional and advanced welding equipments and products in the Advanced Welding Technology Centre. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for the development and delivery of training courses primarily related to advance welding technologies.
This position reports to the Director, Canadian Welding Association (CWA) and will work out of CWB’s Head office, servicing our staff, clients and community partners.
The following qualifications are required:
• Minimum Welding Engineering Technologist eligible for C.E.T. • Progressive and advanced experience in welding engineering and/or weld metallurgy. • 10 years progressive experience in the Welding and Joining industry • Experience in the development and/or presentation of products and equipment with emphasis in the welding and joining industries. • Demonstrated project management; planning, organizing and follow-up skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills to foster customer relationships • Proficient in Microsoft office applications. • Ability to work with minimal amount of supervision
The following qualifications are an asset:
• Robotics and Automation Certificate/ Diploma an asset • Professional Engineer designation an asset. • Project Manager certification (PMP) an asset • Practical welding experience an asset
